Finally, an Update!

Amazing - last post was 9 months ago... I have no 9-month gestational ideas to announce - unfortunately! However, much has happened during this time: 1. meeting Katie's (Carla's daughter's) beau, Emmanuel (Hatian from the Dominican Republic), their marriage and then pregnancy and soon Emmanuel Jayden's arrival. What an adjustment for me - they live in the same city and this has required more time, emotional and financial support on our part. Now C & I will be 'grandparents' and all that means. 2. At Christmast time there was a pipe freezed in our cabin. Fortunately were were there soon after; however, it was 3 months before the damage was repaired and we could use it again. We are loving it once again. 3. I was invited to an Outgiving Conference sponsored by the Gill Foundation. It was quite eye-opening. Various LGBT grant-giving organizations were featured. I met interesting people and decided to give more of my philanthropy to LGBT organizations. 4. I have continued to work with Warren Village, now serving on the board. I have changed assignments at the museum - working on putting a manuscript into digital form. The church history project contines, but I think the 1859-60 portion is at an end. I do now know what, if anything, will be next. Oh, and I am on the HOW board of the cabin complex. And that brings us pretty much up to date on major happenings.
